Sir,
In reply to your letter of 9th instant, I have the honour to inform you that there exists no objection on my part to your cormencing the Naval works on the ground at Kowloon which the Commissioners concur in
recommending for Naval purposes.
As regards the temporary sheds, these may be erected, but on the understanding that they are to be removed when the ground intended for the permanent Store
shall be made available.
